It is as Xell says, the action scenes are like any other anime, out of that, the "investigation" or the plot scenes are the ones which play with that fear, bloody walls or scriptings on them, pentacles everywhere, kids laughing while holding knieves... you know...
oooooo horror anime o_O
And inside the Horror stuff, the demoniac and satanic stuff..

Chronicles of the Cursed Swords (I wanted some good ol' mythical action, and this seemed good) not yet read
Happymania vol. 2 and 3 (Friend got me copies for free. Really bad art, IMO. but it's kinda cute. Lotsa sex though, really crappy sex too :/)

Digi Charat: Kawaii, and funny. Tho some of the art styles are weird
Futaba-Kun Change vol. 7: Funny, though some more of the multple girls after one guy, which pollutes anime too much today :/
Hey! have you read the whole volume? i think it is pretty funny! and at least, Naru finally... makes wha she has to do!
And Saber Marionette manga is pretty cool too, but don't wait deep contents... though it is "hentaier" than anime.

For me, at least the marmalade boy anime, is Too much sappy, i can't stand it!
If you enjoyed LH12, LH13 is even better...
